What makes a bathroom remodel go wrong?
Waterproofing, almost every time. It's the part you never see and the part that matters most. We get the waterproofing right before a single tile goes on, because a leaking shower means tearing the whole thing out in a few years.
Will we be without a bathroom during the remodel?
If your home has a second bathroom, no — we work on one at a time. If it's your only bathroom, we'll walk through the schedule honestly before work starts so you can plan for the stretch when it's out of commission.
Does a bathroom remodel need a permit?
If plumbing or electrical is moving — and in most real remodels it is — yes. We pull the permit and meet the inspectors so you don't have to deal with the city.
