Complete Home Renovations
One coordinated renovation that reworks the whole house instead of one room at a time.
When one room isn't enough, we renovate the whole home. Carrieri Construction plans and builds complete home renovations in Dana Point and across south Orange County, and one licensed, family-owned team carries the entire job under a single contract.
What a whole-home renovation includes
Every renovation is scoped to your home and your goals. Most complete renovations touch:
- Layout changes: opening walls and rethinking floor plans so the home flows the way your family actually lives
- Kitchens and bathrooms remodeled as part of one coordinated plan instead of piecemeal projects
- Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC brought up to today's standards and code
- New flooring, cabinetry, tile, trim, and paint that read as one cohesive home
- Permits and city inspections handled for you from start to finish
Why renovate the whole home at once
Renovating room by room means living through construction more than once and paying for mobilization more than once. One coordinated renovation lets us sequence trades efficiently, keep the design consistent from room to room, and hand you back a finished home.

Questions
Complete Home Renovations — common questions
Can we live in the house during a whole-home renovation?
Depends on the scope. If we're opening up most of the house at once, living elsewhere for stretches is usually easier on everyone. On some projects the work can be phased to keep part of the home livable. We'll give you a straight answer about which situation you're in before anything is signed.
Do I need permits for a full renovation?
Almost certainly. Structural changes, electrical, plumbing, and new windows all trigger permits in the cities we work in. We pull the permits and schedule the inspections ourselves — it's part of the job, not an extra.
How do you keep a project this big on budget?
It starts before any work does: a written quote broken into line items, so you see where every dollar goes. If something changes mid-project — it happens, especially once walls are open — the change gets priced and put in writing before we proceed. No verbal 'we'll settle up later.'
